The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kevan Loisy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Paulo Simonetti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute Steevy Labruyère shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jérémy Ginola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jérémy Ginola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steevy Labruyère, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaspard Fouque kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hermengildo Eutropio. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Benoît Gineste charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benoît Gineste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benoît Gineste kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match, Kevan Loisy got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hermengildo Eutropio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Steevy Labruyère had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jérémy Ginola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steevy Labruyère in the 39th minute of the match. Hector Marron hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Steevy Labruyère made the kick off in the second half. Georges Mérieau hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ouges getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Kevan Loisy hit a great ball. Ouges's Jérémy Ginola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steevy Labruyère in the 57th minute of play. Jérémy Ginola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steevy Labruyère in the 63rd minute of the match. Jérémy Ginola was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Steevy Labruyère capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Steevy Labruyère really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. BWT Alpine's Unai Erosa was substituted for Alain Nectoux. After a rather tough play, Ouges's Justin Laude got a free kick in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevan Loisy in the 80th minute of play forced BWT Alpine's goalkeeper Hermengildo Eutropio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Hector Marron fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BWT Alpine's protests and gave Hector Marron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ouges booed when BWT Alpine was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Marron didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ouges's Gameiro Parquet tried to score from far away in the 83rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Robert Bontemps's late challenge caught a BWT Alpine's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robert Bontemps helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 86 minutes, Brice Grimaud managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BWT Alpine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brice Grimaud was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Georges Mérieau was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, BWT Alpine's Aimé Bardon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jérémy Ginola. Jérémy Ginola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. BWT Alpine had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
