In the 48th minute, Eleuterio Sidoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigue Delrue was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Sidoro to make the kick off. Jarod Conan was out of position in the 59 minute of play, and Davy Archambault capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Davy Archambault really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davy Archambault got free with Jarod Conan in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Modane Gare FC's Jarod Conan got control of the ball when Davy Archambault tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Eleuterio Sidoro put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Rodrigue Delrue. Abbaye's Davy Archambault got his second yellow card of the match in the 72nd minute. The referee ordered Davy Archambault off the ground. The supporters of Modane Gare FC booed when Abbaye was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davy Archambault didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigue Delrue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Sidoro in the 76th minute of the match. Eleuterio Sidoro took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigue Delrue. Rodrigue Delrue dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Rodrigue Delrue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Sidoro in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Abbaye's Joachim Pavageau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarod Conan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Modane Gare FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abbaye:s goal. After 92 minutes of play, Modane Gare FC's Erwan Adoniso made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rodrigue Delrue was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodrigue Delrue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Sidoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleuterio Sidoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigue Delrue having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Modane Gare FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
