Jérémy Ginola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from John-Paul Gillon in the 12th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that John-Paul Gillon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jérémy Ginola was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Daryl Belleville ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jérémy Ginola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Daryl Belleville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Jérémy Ginola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ouges's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when John-Paul Gillon scored to the left of an out of position Jérémy Ginola, making the score, 3-0. Jérémy Ginola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from John-Paul Gillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Clichy's goal looked a bit too open when Kevan Loisy came free, but Edmond Esnault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Clichy were awarded a corner. Daryl Belleville went to the cornerflag to take it. Xavier Dominici was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John-Paul Gillon to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Fausto Kaiet managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clichy's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Kaiet was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Toufik Suteau fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clichy's protests and gave Toufik Suteau a yellow card for diving instead. Edmond Esnault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Bontemps in the 68th minute of play. In the 68th match minute, Clichy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toufik Suteau to maneuver through the defense. Xavier Dominici scored 4-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jérémy Ginola, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute, Daryl Belleville made a precise shot to the right of Jérémy Ginola. Ouges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Jérémy Ginola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from John-Paul Gillon, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Daryl Belleville sped through Ouges's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jérémy Ginola. Daryl Belleville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Jérémy Ginola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clichy had played much better football throughout.
