Abbaye's Rodrigue Delrue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Abbaye from getting a goal against them. Abbaye's Rodrigue Delrue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cyril Mansouri in the 25th minute of play. After some careless play in the Villabé defense, Tristan Aguilar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Vergnaud. The Villabé fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Vergnaud should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Hugues Raoult managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villabé's supporters rose to their feet, but Hugues Raoult was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rodrigue Delrue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 36 played minutes Villabé got a freekick which was hit by Matheo Huleux. Paulo Vergnaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adil Toullec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Villabé's goal looked a bit too open when Adil Toullec came free, but Paulo Vergnaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joachim Pavageau was the one to do the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adil Toullec couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tristan Aguilar during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute Malcom Bertet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigue Delrue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th match minute, Abbaye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tristan Aguilar to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Bové took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 58th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rodrigue Delrue. Abbaye's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paulo Vergnaud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joachim Pavageau in the 63rd minute of play. Villabé's Paulo Vergnaud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adil Toullec in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Joachim Pavageau reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Vergnaud. The goal made the score 2-4. Rodrigue Delrue didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hugues Raoult went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. Paulo Vergnaud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davy Archambault in the 77th minute. Eddy Bussiere kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Paulo Vergnaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adil Toullec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute of the match, Davy Archambault got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paulo Vergnaud was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Joachim Pavageau was extremely unlucky when he, in the 92nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Davy Archambault took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulo Vergnaud. Paulo Vergnaud dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-7. Abbaye played a much better game than Villabé and deserved their victory. The Villabé players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
