The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clovis Queguiner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jochen Sommerhalder received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Clovis Queguiner came out and tried to block the shot, but Jochen Sommerhalder slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, massïlia's Sidney Bessou got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Jouy's zone, Murillo Kepa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clovis Queguiner came out of the goal and Murillo Kepa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Louison Le Boucher struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Clovis Queguiner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for massïlia. Carlos Thiers hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Jochen Sommerhalder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clovis Queguiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clovis Queguiner didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when massïlia's Murillo Kepa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 86 minutes of play, massïlia's Louison Le Boucher made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Clovis Queguiner was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute Jochen Sommerhalder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clovis Queguiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Chivu came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Jouy's Charlie Renou. But to his dismay, Charlie Renou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Charlie Renou took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Pavel Chivu to make any attempt to save it.
