Yann Jamot charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yann Jamot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Yann Jamot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Michel Niel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joey Gomes was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. 6 minutes into the match, Royal Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidney Duvigneau came free, but Mathias Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claira's Joey Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Niel in the 7th minute of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Michel Niel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Royal Eagles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel Niel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michel Niel who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Joey Gomes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mathias Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rayan Bourrier, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michel Niel in the 19th minute of play forced Claira's goalkeeper Joey Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathias Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yann Jamot in the 22nd minute of the match. Jérémy Huon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Goiano having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yann Jamot in the 31st minute of play forced Royal Eagles FC's goalkeeper Mathias Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Royal Eagles FC's Théodore Ré got a free kick in the 31st minute. Joey Gomes came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Eagles FC's Boris Östlund. But to his dismay, Boris Östlund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michel Niel in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joey Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Claira's Jérémy Huon in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Royal Eagles FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Pirmin during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Royal Eagles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesar Pirmin to maneuver through the defense. Théodore Granier kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Michel Niel made a kick off. With a little luck, Royal Eagles FC's Mathias Goiano got control of the ball when Jérémy Huon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Claira's Joey Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boris Östlund in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Claira's Rayan Bourrier got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Kader Antier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Gomes having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Michel Niel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joey Gomes was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. In the 65th minute Michel Niel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kader Antier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joey Gomes having to make a save. A collision led to Royal Eagles FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gilbert Gendolla hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Niel in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joey Gomes saved Claira from getting behind. In the 78thth minute of the game Michel Niel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Claira's Joey Gomes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Michel Niel came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Royal Eagles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Niel couldn't finish the play. Boris Östlund scored 3-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joey Gomes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Claira players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Royal Eagles FC.
