Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arthur Jouenne made the kick off which started today's match. Claira's Jérémy Huon got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehdi Studer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Joey Gomes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Dove Malaquin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Jouenne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, RC Aiacciu Corsica's goalkeeper Michal Svatek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jérémy Huon. Léopold Bouin hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Arthur Jouenne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joey Gomes was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. In the 25th match minute, RC Aiacciu Corsica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Debaisieux to maneuver through the defense. Claira's Sidney Duvigneau got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Michal Svatek managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Claira's Jérémy Huon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jérémy Huon took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michal Svatek. Michal Svatek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Arthur Jouenne's late challenge caught a Claira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arthur Jouenne helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes RC Aiacciu Corsica got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Jouenne. After a rather tough play, Claira's Malcom Hanriot got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute Arthur Jouenne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joey Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jérémy Huon came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Claira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jérémy Huon couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Yann Jamot made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th match minute, RC Aiacciu Corsica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Lesecq to maneuver through the defense. Michal Svatek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yann Jamot, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 57 minutes into the game, Yann Jamot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Michal Svatek was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joey Gomes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Jouenne in the 61st minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Claira's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Jouenne came free, but Joey Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 played minutes RC Aiacciu Corsica got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Dubroca. Claira's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arthur Jouenne 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 82 minutes into the match, Claira's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Jouenne came free, but Joey Gomes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, RC Aiacciu Corsica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Studer to maneuver through the defense. Michal Svatek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yann Jamot in the 92nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Léo Bion during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
