But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Steevy Dumay sped through Perrach's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sidney Thevenot. 17 minutes into the match, Montanay's goalkeeper Axel Pichaud had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Émilien Giraudo. Axel Pichaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Biguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sidney Thevenot saved Perrach from getting behind. In the 24thth minute of the game Just Doucet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Perrach's Sidney Thevenot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Axel Pichaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jules Canivet, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabri Groussard in the 28th minute of play forced Perrach's goalkeeper Sidney Thevenot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. Sidney Thevenot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Just Doucet in the 60th minute. The supporters of Montanay booed when Perrach was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Cyrille Schmid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montanay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Axel Pichaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Émilien Giraudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 78 minutes into the match, Jules Canivet notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Montanay's Axel Pichaud. Axel Pichaud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marco Biguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axel Pichaud having to interfere. After 83 minutes of play, Perrach's Émilien Giraudo made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axel Pichaud was left in no man's land by his defense there! 87 minutes into the match, Montanay's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Biguet came free, but Axel Pichaud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Jules Canivet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Pichaud saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jean-Christophe Desrousseaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Sidney Thevenot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Amaury Mantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Montanay's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Perrach had won, even though Montanay had held more of the ball.
