Thomas Verot hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute, Merchâteau's Franck Cabrol ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mathis Villeger. Mathis Villeger yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 17th minute, Merchâteau's Jarod Hautin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mathis Villeger. In the 20th minute, Justin Villaret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Jackson Marsault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orcines's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Merchâteau the free kick. Jackson Marsault kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Merchâteau's Cyrille Raimbault dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Cyrille Raimbault received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mathis Villeger came out and tried to block the shot, but Cyrille Raimbault slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 32nd minute. Mathis Villeger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyrille Raimbault in the 41st minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jackson Rion to strike the kick off in the second half. Merchâteau's Eden Serra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Merchâteau from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Franck Cabrol sped through Orcines's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mathis Villeger. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarod Hautin in the 61st minute of play forced Orcines's goalkeeper Mathis Villeger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute of the match Cyrille Raimbault sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathis Villeger skillfully saved the ball. Mathis Villeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyrille Raimbault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Orcines's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrille Raimbault came free, but Mathis Villeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernand Guilloton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Eden Serra made a huge save. In the 77th minute, Jackson Marsault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eden Serra made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jackson Rion sent off a good shot on target. After 84 played minutes Orcines got a freekick which was hit by Justin Villaret. 85 minutes into the match, Orcines's goal looked a bit too open when Cyrille Raimbault came free, but Mathis Villeger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathis Villeger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franck Cabrol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eden Serra made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Fernand Guilloton sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Orcines getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Francis Mokhtari hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Merchâteau were the better team. Merchâteau's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
