Spectators: 6828 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1828, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cyrille Raimbault made the kick off which started today's match. In the 7th match minute, Chède was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celestin Lazare to maneuver through the defense. David Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Cabrol in the 8th minute of the match. After 17 minutes of play, Merchâteau's Patrick Merville made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrille Raimbault in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Ortiz saved Chède from getting behind. Eden Serra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestin Lazare in the 23rd minute of the match. When Franck Cabrol came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Merchâteau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franck Cabrol couldn't finish the play. David Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xavier Bessin, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Merchâteau's Camille Marchive got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franck Cabrol in the 29th minute of the match. When Cyrille Raimbault came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Merchâteau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrille Raimbault couldn't finish the play. Xavier Bessin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Ortiz having to make a save. David Ortiz came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Merchâteau's Franck Cabrol. But to his dismay, Franck Cabrol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Pierre-Emmanuel Loze hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Franck Cabrol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cyrille Raimbault scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Ortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Thibaut Bonenfant to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Cyrille Raimbault's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but David Ortiz was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, Merchâteau's goal looked a bit too open when Celestin Lazare came free, but Eden Serra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Xavier Bessin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thibaut Bonenfant in the 62nd minute of play forced Merchâteau's goalkeeper Eden Serra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thibaut Bonenfant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eden Serra having to interfere. David Ortiz came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Merchâteau's Cyrille Raimbault. But to his dismay, Cyrille Raimbault quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 75th minute, Merchâteau's Jack Poignant ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Ortiz. David Ortiz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Merchâteau's Mehdi Huguet got a free kick in the 78th minute. Eden Serra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benoit Roumier, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Eden Serra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestin Lazare in the 83rd minute of the match. Cyrille Raimbault fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Ortiz having to interfere. Cyrille Raimbault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Titouan Clermont was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pierre-Emmanuel Loze hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Chède fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Merchâteau were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
