The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jean-Michel His in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joey Gomes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Duvigneau got free with Wilfried Maho in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rayan Bourrier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Industrial FC's Wilfried Maho got control of the ball when Jérémy Huon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jérémy Huon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Wilfried Maho made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Industrial FC's Bryan Hauet got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 40 minutes into the game, Léo Bion was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jean-Michel His took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Joey Gomes. Joey Gomes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With his leg Joey Gomes managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Industrial FC's Jean-Michel His fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rayan Bourrier hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Jean-Michel Hiss short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Joey Gomes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 63rd match minute, Industrial FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thibaut Simonot to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Claira booed when Industrial FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thibaut Simonot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claira's Joey Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Claira from getting a goal against them.
