André Liègeois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Östlund went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 26th match minute, Anstaing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Baptiste Foure to maneuver through the defense. After 27 played minutes Anstaing got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Helbert. In the 28th minute Michel Niel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Liègeois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anstaing's André Liègeois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilbert Gendolla in the 44th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Anstaing's zone, Gilbert Gendolla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Liègeois came out of the goal and Gilbert Gendolla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Anstaing getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Axel Gilet hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Royal Eagles FC's Michel Niel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The wind increased when Michel Niel made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul-Henri Baudier in the 52nd minute of play forced Royal Eagles FC's goalkeeper Mathias Goiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Royal Eagles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Henri Baudier came free, but Mathias Goiano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 55 played minutes Royal Eagles FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaël Itier. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Benoît Patry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anstaing's supporters rose to their feet, but Benoît Patry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathias Goiano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Anstaing defense, Gilbert Gendolla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Liègeois. The Anstaing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Liègeois should have stopped the shot. Ulysse Bieber hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Gilbert Gendolla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Boris Östlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of André Liègeois. Anstaing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boris Östlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul-Henri Baudier in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathias Goiano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th minute Michel Niel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Liègeois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathias Goiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axel Gilet in the 78th minute of play. Mathias Goiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paul-Henri Baudier, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. André Liègeois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Niel went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Royal Eagles FC's Gilbert Gendolla ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind André Liègeois. André Liègeois yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. 91 minutes into the match, Anstaing's goalkeeper André Liègeois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Niel. Michel Niel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, André Liègeois skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Royal Eagles FC's Bertrand Fourmy got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anstaing's André Liègeois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Anstaing from getting a goal against them. Boris Östlund scored 1-7 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Liègeois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Royal Eagles FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anstaing throughout the match.
