Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fontain's Grégory Le Du started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marc-Antoine Casabianca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evan Edon having to interfere. Mickaël Dez charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mickaël Dez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fontain getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mickaël Dez hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Teddy Davesne sped through Fontain's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Evan Edon. After a defensive mix-up in Nilvange's zone, Robin Chery stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolas Tellier came out of the goal and Robin Chery tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicolas Tellier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grégory Le Du, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicolas Tellier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mickaël Dez in the 30th minute of the match. Hassan Lachenal took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evan Edon. Evan Edon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Nicolas Tellier had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Léo Brèthes's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Nicolas Tellier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valérien Bibard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 49th minute, Robin Chery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When Anatole Jolivet fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nilvange's protests and gave Anatole Jolivet a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 53rd minute of the game. One of Nilvange:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fontain:s goal. Léo Brèthes walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Nicolas Tellier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mickaël Dez's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grégory Le Du in the 59th minute of play forced Nilvange's goalkeeper Nicolas Tellier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Marc-Antoine Casabianca fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nilvange's protests and gave Marc-Antoine Casabianca a yellow card for diving instead. Marc-Antoine Casabianca hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Grégory Le Du kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Émile Ferrant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aziz Gibier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aziz Gibier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grégory Le Du was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Fontain's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 73rd minute, Fontain's Grégory Le Du ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nicolas Tellier. Nicolas Tellier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickaël Dez in the 76th minute of play forced Nilvange's goalkeeper Nicolas Tellier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teddy Davesne in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evan Edon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Nilvange defense, Valérien Bibard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Tellier. The Nilvange fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Tellier should have stopped the shot. Nicolas Tellier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 89th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Joaquim Brault. After a rather tough play, Fontain's Robin Chery got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 95th match minute, Nilvange was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jason Calmet to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 95 minutes, Léo Brèthes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Brèthes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Tellier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thibault Dujardin in the 97th minute of play. With a little luck, Nilvange's Nicolas Tellier got control of the ball when Valérien Bibard tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicolas Tellier was out of position in the 100 minute of play, and Mickaël Dez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mickaël Dez really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
