Spectators: 6829 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teddy Davesne started the match with the kick off. Barnabé Corbel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Karl Laurain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barnabé Corbel scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl Laurain, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bérenger Trognon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Nicolas Tellier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bacary Drouault charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bacary Drouault the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bacary Drouault hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Karl Laurain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teddy Davesne's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. If Teddy Davesne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aziz Gibier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Karl Laurain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marc-Antoine Casabianca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seilh's Karl Laurain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aziz Gibier in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, Seilh's Bérenger Trognon made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Tellier was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the game, Teddy Davesne cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Karl Laurain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Nilvange's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bacary Drouault fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 45 played minutes, Nilvange's Anatole Jolivet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Karl Laurain came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nilvange reached it. After 46 minutes of play, Nilvange's Aziz Gibier made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Laurain was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Nilvange were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jean-Philippe Rouanet made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Matheo Eckert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 54 played minutes Nilvange got a freekick which was hit by Hassan Lachenal. 57 minutes into the match, Hassan Lachenal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Karl Laurain. Seilh's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hassan Lachenal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Nicolas Tellier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean-Philippe Rouanet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 67 minutes, Aziz Gibier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nilvange's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aziz Gibier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teddy Davesnes short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Karl Laurain to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hassan Lachenal struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Karl Laurain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nilvange. After 75 minutes of play, Nilvange's Teddy Davesne made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karl Laurain was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the game, Aziz Gibier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Karl Laurain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teddy Davesne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Laurain having to interfere. With a little luck, Seilh's Karl Laurain got control of the ball when Teddy Davesne tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilvange played a much better game than Seilh and deserved their victory. The Seilh players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
