Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) LPN's Jean-Pascal Raffin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Djibril Favre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Mottet, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Neudorf booed when LPN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Pascal Schaff didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jason Cornilleau made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Étienne Tabary sent off a good shot on target. 10 minutes into the match, LPN's goalkeeper Jason Cornilleau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Étienne Tabary. When Jean-Pascal Raffin came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the LPN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Pascal Raffin couldn't finish the play. Djibril Favre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Pascal Raffin in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Abraham Biret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, LPN's Jason Cornilleau got control of the ball when Étienne Tabary tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Mottet struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Djibril Favre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LPN. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Jean-Pascal Raffin managed to get in a good position for a shot. LPN's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean-Pascal Raffin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Djibril Favre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego Gall hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Étienne Tabary didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 31st minute. Neudorf's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After 33 minutes of play, Neudorf's Carl Renauld made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jason Cornilleau was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jason Cornilleau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carl Renauld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carl Renauld to strike the kick off in the second half. Djibril Favre made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christian Mottet in the 59th minute. Sabri Tricoire kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 62nd minute Jean-Pascal Raffin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Djibril Favre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jason Cornilleau showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Pascal Raffin in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Djibril Favre saved Neudorf from getting behind. After 88 played minutes LPN got a freekick which was hit by Jean-Pascal Schaff. Carl Renauld struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Jason Cornilleau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neudorf. In the 96th minute, Carl Renauld made a precise shot to the right of Jason Cornilleau. LPN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
