Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Charles-Henri Colin kicked off to start the match. Charles-Henri Colin might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Azam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles-Henri Colin ran back to his position shaking his head. Nilvange's Felix Azam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Henri Colin in the 12th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Nilvange's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Chabert came free, but Felix Azam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octave Goupy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felix Azam having to make a save. Felix Azam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Chabert, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Nilvange getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Jean-Philippe Castan hit a great ball. Nilvange's Felix Azam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles-Henri Colin in the 31st minute of play. Octave Goupy took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Azam. Felix Azam dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Felix Azam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles-Henri Colin in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Octave Goupy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Nilvange's Nicolas Tellier got a free kick in the 38th minute. Lucas Chabert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Didenheim's Charles-Henri Colin managed to work through Nilvange's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Charles-Henri Colin dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Felix Azam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles-Henri Colin, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Aziz Gibier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jason Lanoue was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Nilvange's Felix Azam got control of the ball when Charles-Henri Colin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Nilvange's zone, Charles-Henri Colin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Azam came out of the goal and Charles-Henri Colin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felix Azam showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Vallot in the 66th minute of the match. Felix Azam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octave Goupy, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Nilvange's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Chabert came free, but Felix Azam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Didenheim booed when Nilvange was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Tellier didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Nicolas Tellier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilvange's Felix Azam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Chabert in the 75th minute of play. Florian Vatinel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Felix Azam made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Charles-Henri Colin sent off a good shot on target. Felix Azam made an important save on a dangerous shot by Octave Goupy in the 85th minute. Didenheim were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
