Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anatole Finot started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Montchaboud booed when Jerphagnon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Charles Dru didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 minutes of play, Montchaboud's Marvin Hay made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yvan Servant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pierre-Henri Devin scored 1-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Farid Valembois, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Antonin Diet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Montchaboud's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Henri Devin came free, but Farid Valembois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 19 minutes of play, Montchaboud's Antonin Diet made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yvan Servant was left in no man's land by his defense there! Farid Valembois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Henri Devin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Montchaboud's goalkeeper Farid Valembois had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Morgan Prive. Montchaboud's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Joseph Seret scored to the left of an out of position Farid Valembois, making the score, 2-2. In the 30th minute, Jerphagnon FC's Pierre-Henri Devin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Montchaboud:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jerphagnon FC:s goal. 45 minutes into the game, Pierre-Henri Devin recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Farid Valembois. Pierre-Henri Devin showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-2. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre-Henri Devin was the one to do the kick off. The Montchaboud fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when Montchaboud's Antonin Diet looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Henri Devin in the 56th minute of play forced Montchaboud's goalkeeper Farid Valembois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 57 minutes, Joseph Seret managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jerphagnon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joseph Seret was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 59 minutes into the game, Paul-Henri Journe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-3. Farid Valembois was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Farid Valembois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Morgan Prive, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Henri Devin took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Farid Valembois. Farid Valembois dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-3. Antonin Diet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Yvan Servant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Farid Valembois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Prive in the 69th minute of play. In the 75th minute Antoine Gayet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Valembois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Montchaboud's zone, Joseph Seret stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Farid Valembois came out of the goal and Joseph Seret tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, Jerphagnon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jean-Charles Dru to maneuver through the defense. Farid Valembois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Morgan Prive in the 85th minute of play. Morgan Prive received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Farid Valembois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Pierre-Henri Devin notched a goal, 8-3, to the right of Montchaboud's Farid Valembois. Farid Valembois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Antonin Diet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Jerphagnon FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
