Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Brian Morvant kicked off to start the match. When Constantin Schwartz fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Saulzet's protests and gave Constantin Schwartz a yellow card for diving instead. When Brian Morvant came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Saulzet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Morvant couldn't finish the play. When Constantin Schwartz was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 11 minutes had been played. After 15 minutes of play, Pillonnières's Charles Boulange made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles-Emmanuel Guède was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Saulzet booed when Pillonnières was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Marc Métivier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brian Morvant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saulzet's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Lilian Gaude scored to the left of an out of position Charles-Emmanuel Guède, making the score, 2-0. The supporters of Saulzet booed when Pillonnières was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jim Ondet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Brian Morvant cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Calvin Lacave was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Charles-Emmanuel Guède made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philippe Taverne in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Boulange got free with Charles-Emmanuel Guède in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Boulange came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Charles-Emmanuel Guède could save by the left post.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charles Boulange was the one to do the kick off. Morgan Jacquel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calvin Lacave having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Saulzet's goal looked a bit too open when Philippe Taverne came free, but Charles-Emmanuel Guède reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles-Emmanuel Guède took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lilian Gaude, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saulzet's Charles-Emmanuel Guède played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Boulange in the 67th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Philippe Taverne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pillonnières's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Taverne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles-Emmanuel Guède breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Charles Boulange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles-Emmanuel Guède came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Pillonnières's Charles Boulange. But to his dismay, Charles Boulange quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Charles Boulange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charles-Emmanuel Guède showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Charles Boulange in the 77th minute of the match. Charles-Emmanuel Guède took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Boulange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Charles Boulange came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Pillonnières fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Boulange couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Philippe Taverne in the 88th minute of play forced Saulzet's goalkeeper Charles-Emmanuel Guède to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philippe Taverne took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles-Emmanuel Guède. Charles-Emmanuel Guède dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. When the referee ended the match the Pillonnières players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
