Rémi Geay charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rémi Geay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anatole Finot's late challenge caught a Napollon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anatole Finot helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th match minute, Montchaboud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Aymes to maneuver through the defense. Anatole Finot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josselin Laffon having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Loubet in the 19th minute of play forced Montchaboud's goalkeeper Farid Valembois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Farid Valembois came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Napollon's Karl Piquet. But to his dismay, Karl Piquet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 24 minutes into the match, Karl Piquet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Farid Valembois. Montchaboud's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl Piquet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Loubet in the 27th minute of play forced Montchaboud's goalkeeper Farid Valembois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marvin Hay might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Josselin Laffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marvin Hay ran back to his position shaking his head. Antonin Diet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josselin Laffon having to interfere. Farid Valembois came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Napollon's Karl Piquet. But to his dismay, Karl Piquet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Antonin Diet struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Josselin Laffon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Montchaboud. Josselin Laffon made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Pierrick Jager sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute of the match, Antonin Diet got a very nice opportunity to score, but Josselin Laffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 51st match minute, Napollon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronan Deniaud to maneuver through the defense. Marvin Hay kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute Ronan Deniaud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Valembois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonin Diet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anatole Finot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josselin Laffon having to interfere. Lech Kalinowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Farid Valembois made a huge save. Pierrick Jager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Josselin Laffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Anatole Finot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josselin Laffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marvin Hay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the game, Maximo Abadia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Napollon's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Montchaboud the free kick. After 71 played minutes Napollon got a freekick which was hit by Maximo Abadia. Napollon's Rémi Geay got his second yellow card of the match in the 77th minute. The referee ordered Rémi Geay off the ground. Rémi Geay hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Karl Aymes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josselin Laffon having to interfere. If Anatole Finot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josselin Laffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anatole Finot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josselin Laffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anatole Finot in the 89th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Napollon's Manuel Loubet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Farid Valembois. That made the score 1-4 after 93 minutes of play.
