Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pierre Peyrot started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Boulange in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Polo saved Dieppedalle from getting behind. Bob Jeanroy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pierre Peyrot fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dieppedalle's protests and gave Pierre Peyrot a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Dieppedalle getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Pierre Peyrot hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Charles Boulange in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck William Polo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Jim Ondet fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pillonnières's protests and gave Jim Ondet a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pillonnières getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jim Ondet hit a great ball. William Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Boulange in the 20th minute of play. Philippe Taverne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Polo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Marc Métivier in the 29th minute of play forced Dieppedalle's goalkeeper William Polo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre Peyrot was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 32nd match minute, Dieppedalle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Peyrot to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Renaud Tournois got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Dieppedalle's zone, Charles Boulange stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Polo came out of the goal and Charles Boulange tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Dieppedalle defense, Cyrille Hermant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Polo. The Dieppedalle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Polo should have stopped the shot. The Dieppedalle players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pillonnières were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Charles Boulange to make the kick off. William Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Boulange in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Dieppedalle defense, Philippe Taverne kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Polo. The Dieppedalle fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Polo should have stopped the shot. Charles Boulange might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Polo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charles Boulange ran back to his position shaking his head. Charles Boulanges short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got William Polo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Boris Merlaud sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Charles Boulange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Polo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Boulange received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. William Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Philippe Taverne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pillonnières fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Charles Boulange managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pillonnières's supporters rose to their feet, but Charles Boulange was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. William Polo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Charles Boulange made a precise shot to the right of William Polo. Dieppedalle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Charles Boulange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pillonnières's Charles Boulange got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Charles Boulange had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Pillonnières left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Dieppedalle.
