Arnaud Brie was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jonathan Souche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Victor Claisse made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint Germain's Erwin Hillion got a free kick in the 17th minute. Paris Saint Germain's Nelson Buffiere quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jimmy Darde, made in the 21st minute of the game. Edgard Berger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Arnaud Brie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Victor Claisse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wasyl Zieba went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Alex Damas who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Victor Claisse when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jonathan Souche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Victor Claisse made a huge save. Jonathan Souche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Victor Claisse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Karl Jullian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amine Brunie during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Erwin Hillion helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Erwin Hillion hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alex Damas to strike the kick off in the second half. Sammy Leroi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Victor Claisse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaud Brie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Victor Claisse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Souche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paris Saint Germain's Amine Brunie managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by César Boullet in the 73 minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Witwich FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Berger came free, but Arnaud Brie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by César Boullet with Roland Boidin as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Victor Claisse dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Witwich FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
