Spectators: 8421 (Terracing: 6316, Seating: 1937, VIP seats: 168) Rachid Nicollet made the kick off and thus started the match. Karl Laidet came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Lambres's Sofiane Fleurant. But to his dismay, Sofiane Fleurant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sofiane Fleurant in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Laidet saved Meurchin from getting behind. Karl Laidet made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Sofiane Fleurant sent off a good shot on target. In the 12th minute, Lambres's Auguste Macaigne ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karl Laidet. Karl Laidet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 14 minutes into the game, Sofiane Fleurant recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Karl Laidet. Sofiane Fleurant showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brian Pontoizeau during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lambres's Brian Pontoizeau got a free kick in the 17th minute. Sofiane Fleurant had several of the Meurchin's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 19 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Karl Laidet as he didn't even see the shot coming. The crowd rose to their feet as Sofiane Fleurant kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Karl Laidet. That made the score 6-0 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th minute, Sofiane Fleurant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meurchin's goalkeeper Karl Laidet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Meurchin's Karl Laidet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Meurchin from getting a goal against them. Sofiane Fleurant who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Karl Laidet when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sofiane Fleurant in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Laidet saved Meurchin from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Meurchin's Hervé Rohart broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 7-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sofiane Fleurant to make the kick off. Karl Laidet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sofiane Fleurant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Lambres's Sofiane Fleurant in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meurchin's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sofiane Fleurant in the 60th minute of play forced Meurchin's goalkeeper Karl Laidet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Lambres fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Lambres's Sofiane Fleurant looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 8-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sofiane Fleurant's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Karl Laidet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. After 65 played minutes Meurchin got a freekick which was hit by Hervé Rohart. When Hugo Rochon came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Lambres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hugo Rochon couldn't finish the play. In the 68th minute Rachid Nicollet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steven Grenard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69thth minute of the game Sofiane Fleurant who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meurchin's Karl Laidet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 minutes, Sofiane Fleurant made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Meurchin's Karl Laidet tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sofiane Fleurant in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Laidet saved Meurchin from getting behind. Auguste Macaigne sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Lambres getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Brian Pontoizeau hit a great ball. In the 91st match minute, Meurchin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Couret to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Sofiane Fleurant managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lambres's supporters rose to their feet, but Sofiane Fleurant was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karl Laidet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Claude Theret fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meurchin's protests and gave Claude Theret a yellow card for diving instead. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meurchin's goalkeeper Karl Laidet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lambres's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
