Witwich FC's Arnaud Brie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sébastian Gossard in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes, Alex Damas made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 10 in the game by Alex Damas from a close distance when the talented Mathys Mora managed to make a qualified save. FC Saubrigues's players were relieved. Jonathan Souche could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Mathys Mora made a huge save. Mathys Mora was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Jonathan Souche capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Souche really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Adrien Cariou was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Saubrigues's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Witwich FC the free kick. In the 17th minute, Adrien Cariou hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roland Boidin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Jullian came free, but Mathys Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mathys Mora was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Wasyl Zieba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wasyl Zieba really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. A collision led to Witwich FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Wasyl Zieba hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Witwich FC's Karl Jullian got a free kick in the 31st minute. Arnaud Brie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sébastian Gossard in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Sammy Leroi dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mathys Mora, 4-0. Sammy Leroi hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Jonathan Souche struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Mathys Mora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Witwich FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Laurent Cazes's late challenge caught a Witwich FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurent Cazes helped the player get up and apologised. Laurent Cazes kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of FC Saubrigues booed when Witwich FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul-Émile Guénot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matthieu Macquet scored 4-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaud Brie, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 72nd minute, Camille Roca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rdth minute of the game Alex Damas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mathys Mora came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Witwich FC's Wasyl Zieba. But to his dismay, Wasyl Zieba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After a defensive mix-up in FC Saubrigues's zone, Karl Jullian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mathys Mora came out of the goal and Karl Jullian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sammy Leroi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 85 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Leroi came free, but Mathys Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Damas in the 86th minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witwich FC's Jonathan Souche got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
