In the 6th minute, Isaac Vermudo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sofiane Derville's late challenge caught a Lions de Châteauroux's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sofiane Derville helped the player get up and apologised. Sofiane Derville hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Denis Giurăscu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitor Neves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 11thth minute of the game Marcelo Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KingGod's Vitor Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to KingGod getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Régis Level hit a great ball. Vitor Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Youri Richou, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of KingGod booed when Lions de Châteauroux was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bob Chassard didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Lucas Guennec in the 15th minute really tested Reynaldo Gomes's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Lions de Châteauroux's Reynaldo Gomes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Lions de Châteauroux from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute of the match KingGod got a corner. Lions de Châteauroux's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dan Jouanneau ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on KingGod's corner Dan Jouanneau fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Gomes quite easily take care of the ball. Sofiane Derville recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Lions de Châteauroux getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bob Chassard hit a great ball. A hard shot by Dan Jouanneau from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Reynaldo Gomes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Reynaldo Gomes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kylian Guilmin in the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to KingGod getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Thierry Dudon hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Régis Level got free with Reynaldo Gomes in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kylian Guilmin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Gomes having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 51st minute Régis Level shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Gomes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to KingGod getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Kylian Guilmin hit a great ball. After 56 minutes, Dan Jouanneau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KingGod and the Lions de Châteauroux players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, KingGod's Dan Jouanneau got a free kick in the 56th minute. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Reynaldo Gomes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kylian Guilmin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Lions de Châteauroux's Reynaldo Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Dudon in the 59th minute of play. Camisa Lacoste charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camisa Lacoste the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Camisa Lacoste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Ramos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Vitor Neves made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kylian Guilmin in the 64th minute of play forced Lions de Châteauroux's goalkeeper Reynaldo Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Youri Richou got free with Vitor Neves in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youri Richou in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitor Neves saved KingGod from getting behind. When Marcelo Ramos came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Lions de Châteauroux fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelo Ramos couldn't finish the play. With his leg Vitor Neves managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Lions de Châteauroux's Youri Richou fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vitor Neves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Ramos in the 80th minute. Vitor Neves was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Youri Richou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 83 minute of play. Marcelo Ramos came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vitor Neves could save by the left post. Marcelo Ramos scored 1-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitor Neves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Camisa Lacoste hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Lions de Châteauroux players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
