Titouan Levet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Élie Maniere having to interfere. Flaxlanden's attentive Pierrick Perrichon managed to snatch the ball when Jacob Josef Saumon made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. The Fc Kertzfeld fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Fc Kertzfeld's Joël Rétière looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Joël Rétière sped through Flaxlanden's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Élie Maniere. Élie Maniere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titouan Levet in the 34th minute of the match. Élie Maniere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Levet in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Joël Rétière cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Élie Maniere was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joël Rétière in the 41st minute of play forced Flaxlanden's goalkeeper Élie Maniere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Élie Maniere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Titouan Levet went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joël Rétière in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Élie Maniere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gaston Toupin might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Élie Maniere. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaston Toupin ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hippolyte Mineau was the one to do the kick off. Flaxlanden's Élie Maniere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Flaxlanden from getting a goal against them. The Fc Kertzfeld fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Fc Kertzfeld's Joël Rétière looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Adrien Grimal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flaxlanden's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Kertzfeld the free kick. The supporters of Fc Kertzfeld booed when Flaxlanden was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrien Grimal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wesley Donato got free with Élie Maniere in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Élie Maniere came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Kertzfeld's Wesley Donato. But to his dismay, Wesley Donato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. Élie Maniere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wesley Donato in the 87th minute of play. If Wesley Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Fc Kertzfeld getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Wesley Donato hit a great ball. Wesley Donato blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Élie Maniere having to make a save. Fc Kertzfeld's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
