Alban Drouhin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but José Portugal made a huge save. Michal Kochowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hector Lambinet having to interfere. Bruno Ortega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Boris Labarrière was the one to do the kick off. José Portugal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boris Labarrière in the 51st minute of the match. Hakim Cabrera's late challenge caught a Quennaumont's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hakim Cabrera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Rouhling was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hakim Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. 55 minutes into the match, Rouhling's goal looked a bit too open when Boris Labarrière came free, but José Portugal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hector Lambinet made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Jaak Aabaand sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Rouhling players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
