Clovis Lenoble didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gaston Le Flem had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 5th minute, Roy Bergkvist ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamid Lamothe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a rather tough play, Fierce's Faustin Compagnon got a free kick in the 8th minute. After 9 played minutes FC Foix got a freekick which was hit by François-Xavier Chambaud. After 12 minutes of play, Fierce's Gaston Le Flem made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hamid Lamothe was left in no man's land by his defense there! 14 minutes into the game, Clovis Lenoble was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fierce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Foix the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fierce's Clovis Lenoble got a free kick in the 14th minute. Hamid Lamothe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clovis Lenoble, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Foix's zone, Gaston Le Flem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamid Lamothe came out of the goal and Gaston Le Flem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Mehdi Cornec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hamid Lamothe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clovis Lenoble in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Clovis Lenoble notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of FC Foix's Hamid Lamothe. Hamid Lamothe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamid Lamothe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaston Le Flem in the 43rd minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, FC Foix's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Le Flem came free, but Hamid Lamothe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clovis Lenoble made a kick off. In the 55th match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrea Bocelli to maneuver through the defense. Roy Bergkvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Hamid Lamothe made a huge save. In the 60th minute, Roy Bergkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fierce fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. After 62 played minutes FC Foix got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Chauvière. After 63 minutes, Faustin Compagnon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fierce and the FC Foix players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd match minute, Fierce was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustin Compagnon to maneuver through the defense. Mehdi Cornec kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Gaston Le Flem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Hamid Lamothe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Le Flem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamid Lamothe having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clovis Lenoble in the 84th minute of play forced FC Foix's goalkeeper Hamid Lamothe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Lilian Calmel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 87 in the game by Gaston Le Flem from a close distance when the talented Hamid Lamothe managed to make a qualified save. FC Foix's players were relieved. Gaston Le Flem got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-6 in the right cross in the 89th match minute before Hamid Lamothe had time to react. In the 93rd minute of the match Alou Loret sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hamid Lamothe skillfully saved the ball. Fierce's Faustin Compagnon got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fierce's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
