Helmut Lossimäe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Advíncula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joël Rétière got free with Renaud Carlo in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Helmut Lossimäe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Santana in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joël Rétière in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renaud Carlo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute, Kader Piette hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Helmut Lossimäe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruben Zajac, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florent Sorlin got free with Renaud Carlo in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joël Rétière could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Renaud Carlo made a huge save. 37 minutes into the game, Teddy Garde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Helmut Lossimäe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacob Josef Saumon kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes, Rosière FC's Luis Advíncula shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rosière FC reached it. In the 45th minute of the match Rosière FC got a corner. Fc Kertzfeld's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luis Advíncula ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Garde in the 46th minute of play forced Fc Kertzfeld's goalkeeper Helmut Lossimäe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
