Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Challans fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dorian Gergaud should have stopped the shot. Quentin Hellio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bertrand Demol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samir Le Roux took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quentin Hellio. Quentin Hellio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When F.C. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertrand Demol in the 26th minute of play forced FC 93's goalkeeper Quentin Hellio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. F.C. Challans were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after FC 93's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jean-Pascal Baguet took the corner. The corner led F.C. Challans's Jean-Pascal Baguet to fire away a dangerous shot which Quentin Hellio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the FC 93 defense, Samir Le Roux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quentin Hellio. The FC 93 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin Hellio should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bakary Peyret in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dorian Gergaud prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ilan Allio might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Quentin Hellio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilan Allio ran back to his position shaking his head. After 37 played minutes FC 93 got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Milon. Quentin Hellio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Le Roux in the 38th minute of the match. If Côme Mourlon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC 93's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jean-Pascal Daix in the 45th minute. Bertrand Demol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quentin Hellio having to make a save. After the first half F.C. Challans were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Lucas Milon hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Dorian Gergaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darren Carles in the 58th minute of the match. If Bakary Peyret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. F.C. Challans had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
