An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurice Bernon in the 5th minute of play forced Lombardie's goalkeeper Mourad Grégoire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 12 minutes into the match, Lombardie's goalkeeper Mourad Grégoire had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felix Laget. Felix Laget's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Mourad Grégoire skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felix Laget did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Mourad Grégoire 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Deus Ex Machina's Felix Laget got a free kick in the 25th minute. Walter Martinaud kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 28th minute Laurent Baptiste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Mourad Grégoire managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Deus Ex Machina's Felix Laget fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Dominique Boinet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mourad Grégoire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felix Laget went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute Laurent Baptiste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Nunes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Deus Ex Machina's Felix Laget was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 43rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Mourad Grégoire came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Deus Ex Machina's Jacques Greff. But to his dismay, Jacques Greff quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Laurent Baptiste made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Felix Laget left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deus Ex Machina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After 57 minutes, Felix Laget mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deus Ex Machina and the Lombardie players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Deus Ex Machina got a freekick which was hit by Felix Laget. In the 58th minute, Jordan Gérault hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Felix Laget left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deus Ex Machina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After 62 minutes, Christophe Pérennou mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deus Ex Machina and the Lombardie players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Deus Ex Machina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christophe Pérennou to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Darren Auguin put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 63rd minute of the game. One of Deus Ex Machina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lombardie:s goal. When the match had been going on for 64 minutes, Lombardie's Laurent Baptiste got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Fabien Nunes. In the 72nd minute Maurice Bernon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mourad Grégoire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jordan Gérault's late challenge caught a Deus Ex Machina's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jordan Gérault helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Lombardie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jordan Gérault to maneuver through the defense. 87 minutes into the match, Maurice Bernon notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Lombardie's Mourad Grégoire. Mourad Grégoire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lombardie players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deus Ex Machina.
