Raymond Salesse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from François Étienne, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Charly Pirès recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, François Étienne managed to get in a good position for a shot. Télindière's supporters rose to their feet, but François Étienne was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raymond Salesse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruce Chabanon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 14th match minute, Télindière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavier Dridi to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored Real Bêtise's protests and gave Tom Passet a yellow card for diving instead. After 21 played minutes Real Bêtise got a freekick which was hit by Tom Passet. Raymond Salesse came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Télindière's Xavier Dridi. But to his dismay, Xavier Dridi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 28th minute, one of Real Bêtise:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Real Bêtise. Bruce Chabanon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Raymond Salesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for François Étienne to strike the kick off in the second half. Real Bêtise's Raymond Salesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Dridi in the 52nd minute of play. François Étienne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Raymond Salesse tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bruce Chabanon came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Télindière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Chabanon couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as François Étienne kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raymond Salesse. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. If François Étienne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. François Étiennes short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got Raymond Salesse to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Télindière's Bruce Chabanon got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Bruce Chabanon came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Télindière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruce Chabanon couldn't finish the play. Real Bêtise's players were relieved. Real Bêtise's Raymond Salesse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Real Bêtise from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charly Pirès got free with Raymond Salesse in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bruce Chabanon might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raymond Salesse. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bruce Chabanon ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Télindière's François Étienne sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raymond Salesse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Real Bêtise's Noé Delbreil suffered a sprained foot after 96 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 96 minutes into the game, Chris Coutarel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Télindière's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Bêtise the free kick. In the 96th minute, Chris Coutarel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Télindière left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Real Bêtise.
