Duda Terra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Ryan Georges made a huge save. Fabian Allo scored 0-1 in the 10th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hermínio Penha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 minutes, Fabian Allo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Full Star FC and the Les diables noirs players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duda Terra got free with Ryan Georges in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 16th minute of the match, Steve Gabrielli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ryan Georges saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Steve Gabrielli took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ryan Georges. Ryan Georges dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steve Gabrielli in the 19th minute of play forced Full Star FC's goalkeeper Ryan Georges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ryan Georges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve Gabrielli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steve Gabrielli in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ryan Georges saved Full Star FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Full Star FC's Ryan Georges got control of the ball when Duda Terra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Philippe Debout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the game, Felix Lamouroux was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Full Star FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les diables noirs the free kick. After 30 minutes Full Star FC's goalkeeper Ryan Georges managed, with a little bit of luck, save Jonatan Aspvik's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. Jonatan Aspvik scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryan Georges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34thth minute of the game Steve Gabrielli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Full Star FC's Ryan Georges was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Les diables noirs fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Les diables noirs's Steve Gabrielli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute Steve Gabrielli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Georges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Les diables noirs fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Les diables noirs's Steve Gabrielli looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jean-Philippe Debout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Ashe Swain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Les diables noirs's Gwendal Blaize was substituted for Félicien Delteil. The wind increased when Steve Gabrielli made the kick off in the second half.
