The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roger Chaussard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Erwin Viau made a huge save. Franz Bonneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donatien Haller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatien Haller took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franz Bonneau. Franz Bonneau dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Mamadou Cauquil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Bonneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Clément Molinari was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bayerliverculsec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Waziers the free kick. Franz Bonneau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zinedine Laurence, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Donatien Haller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Franz Bonneau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zinedine Laurence in the 30th minute of play. In the 34th minute Clément Molinari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franz Bonneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurent Damiani hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. If Clément Molinari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 41 minutes into the match, Waziers's goal looked a bit too open when Zinedine Laurence came free, but Franz Bonneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bayerliverculsec getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Renaud Guinet hit a great ball. Erwin Viau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Chaussard in the 46th minute of the match. When Ramzy Chazeau fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bayerliverculsec's protests and gave Ramzy Chazeau a yellow card for diving instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Étienne Bernardet was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Bayerliverculsec's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Chaussard came free, but Erwin Viau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Roger Chaussard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erwin Viau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clément Molinari scored 1-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franz Bonneau, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ibrahim Leroux hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Darren Caminade kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Bayerliverculsec's Donatien Haller sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Franz Bonneau narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Waziers got a freekick which was hit by Laurent Damiani. Bayerliverculsec played a much better game than Waziers and deserved their victory. The Waziers players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
