In the 19th match minute, Bayerliverculsec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donatien Haller to maneuver through the defense. Clément Molinari hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Eymeric Appere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Bayerliverculsec booed when Télindière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zinedine Laurence missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 68 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Madjid Michenaud right hand side. 2-2 became the score in the 70th minute when Zinedine Laurence elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 73rd minute, Zinedine Laurence made a precise shot to the right of Madjid Michenaud. Télindière's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Télindière's zone, Zinedine Laurence stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Madjid Michenaud came out of the goal and Zinedine Laurence tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zinedine Laurence in the 91st minute of play forced Télindière's goalkeeper Madjid Michenaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Télindière getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Denis Pérus hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Bayerliverculsec fans cheered their team off the field, for while Télindière had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
