An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmond Kubiak in the 12th minute of play forced Télindière's goalkeeper Clément Montaigne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentin Dreux fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moïse Labruyère having to interfere. Avel Vat's Bilal Moutte got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Télindière's goal looked a bit too open when Edmond Kubiak came free, but Clément Montaigne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Avel Vat's Guillaume Minier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clément Montaigne. Clément Montaigne yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Guillaume Minier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Avel Vat's Clément Montaigne threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Guillaume Minier, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Télindière's François Étienne got a free kick in the 38th minute. Edmond Kubiak struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Clément Montaigne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avel Vat. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Télindière's goalkeeper Clément Montaigne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Télindière's Clément Montaigne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmond Kubiak in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Edmond Kubiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avel Vat's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmond Kubiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clément Montaigne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clément Montaigne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillaume Minier, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Télindière getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Charly Pirès hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Avel Vat's Malcom Vrignon got a free kick in the 65th minute. Edmond Kubiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sébastien Milliot came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Avel Vat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sébastien Milliot couldn't finish the play. If Florentin Dreux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79th play minutes Guillaume Minier shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Clément Montaigne and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 83rd minute, Guillaume Minier left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Avel Vat fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guillaume Minier in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clément Montaigne saved Télindière from getting behind. François Étienne hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Edmond Kubiak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Avel Vat's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmond Kubiak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clément Montaigne breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Avel Vat fully deserved thier win.
