In the 10th minute of the match, Geoffroy Delatre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cyrille Arnault was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kader Fontanel couldn't finish the play. The Brataka FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clem Lechevalier should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Titouan Duplouy during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44thth minute of the game Amine Nagel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brataka FC's Clem Lechevalier was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Arsenal FC's Cyrille Arnault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevan Frémont in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevan Frémont in the 68th minute of play forced Arsenal FC's goalkeeper Cyrille Arnault to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
