Spectators: 8515 (Terracing: 6387, Seating: 1958, VIP seats: 170) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Guy Gagnaire took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maël Romanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Rousselet in the 3rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cellule's Adil Albrecht slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maël Romanet. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 9th minute David Rousselet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maël Romanet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, Cellule was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adil Albrecht to maneuver through the defense. Guy Gagnaire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maël Romanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Angibaud in the 14th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cellule's Maël Romanet threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Adil Albrecht, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Serge Vielle put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Maël Romanet. With a little luck, Reyrieux's Maël Romanet got control of the ball when Serge Vielle tried to sneak it across the goal line. Reyrieux's Maël Romanet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rousselet in the 21st minute of play. Maël Romanet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Serge Vielle in the 22nd minute. Maël Romanet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adil Albrecht, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rdth minute of the game Adil Albrecht who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Reyrieux's Maël Romanet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cellule's Jean-Charles Sauvaget played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noa Jannot in the 35th minute of play. Serge Vielle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Maël Romanet made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Adil Albrecht made the kick off in the second half. Maël Romanet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Albrecht in the 53rd minute of the match. A collision led to Reyrieux getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Noureddine Pinet hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Reyrieux got a freekick which was hit by Noureddine Pinet. After a rather tough play, Reyrieux's Brandon Boillon got a free kick in the 57th minute. Pierre-Louis Berrier was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 58th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Serge Vielle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Maël Romanet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maël Romanet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Vielle, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Jean-Philippe Contal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maël Romanet having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, David Rousselet made a precise shot to the right of Maël Romanet. Reyrieux's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Serge Vielle took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maël Romanet. Maël Romanet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Maël Romanet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Vielle, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jean-Charles Sauvaget made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guy Gagnaire in the 80th minute. After 82nd play minutes Serge Vielle shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Maël Romanet and just under the crossbar into goal. Guy Gagnaire's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Jean-Charles Sauvaget skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Maël Romanet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adil Albrecht in the 90th minute of play. A collision led to Reyrieux getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Brandon Boillon hit a great ball. Maël Romanet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Albrecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute.
