Étoile du Sud's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daryl Cottineau was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Daryl Cottineau came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Étoile du Sud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daryl Cottineau couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute Daryl Cottineau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daryl Cottineau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute Jordy Lemaire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Sam Baclet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 17th minute Raoul Bienaimé shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Chaput saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theo Chaput made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilan Velasco in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Jordy Lemaire shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antoine Mano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, one of GAS MONKEY:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Theo Chaput didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ilan Velasco went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Theo Chaput successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind GAS MONKEY's goalkeeper Antoine Mano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as GAS MONKEY's Sam Baclet slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Theo Chaput. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. After 43 played minutes Étoile du Sud got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Tipinski. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Étoile du Sud's Mickaël Sourd was substituted for Konrad Witwicki. Étoile du Sud's Noël Chamayou was substituted for Jordy Lemaire. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sam Baclet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Ilan Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theo Chaput saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daryl Cottineau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antoine Mano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noël Chamayou got free with Antoine Mano in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th minute Étoile du Sud were awarded a corner. Ludomir Tipinski went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Étoile du Sud's Ludomir Tipinski to fire away a dangerous shot which Antoine Mano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. GAS MONKEY's Antoine Mano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save GAS MONKEY from getting a goal against them. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by GAS MONKEY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ludomir Tipinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Étoile du Sud's players had a chance to rest. Theo Chaput took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ilan Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 79 played minutes Étoile du Sud got a freekick which was hit by Noël Chamayou. In the 81st minute, Daryl Cottineau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 82 minutes into the game, Noël Chamayou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Antoine Mano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daryl Cottineau kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. If Noël Chamayou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of GAS MONKEY booed when Étoile du Sud was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickaël Sourd didn't get a good kick on the ball. GAS MONKEY were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Étoile du Sud for a fine match.
