Hinrich Grein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alou Codron, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Youri Bénezet in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hinrich Grein saved Perrex from getting behind. Hinrich Grein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitri Grosbois in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Youri Bénezet in the 26th minute of play forced Perrex's goalkeeper Hinrich Grein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Youri Bénezet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hinrich Grein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hinrich Grein came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Arsenal FC's Youri Bénezet. But to his dismay, Youri Bénezet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Hinrich Grein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Youri Bénezet went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 39th minute Savaş Savaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cyrille Arnault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cyrille Arnault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Cassard in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute of the match, Savaş Savaş tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cyrille Arnault saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hinrich Grein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitri Grosbois went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After the first half Arsenal FC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Perrex's Hinrich Grein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stéphane Schiltz in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Cassard came free, but Cyrille Arnault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Perrex fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Arsenal FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
