Mathys Turban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eden Lotte in the 7th minute of the match. When Hubert Heim fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos's protests and gave Hubert Heim a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of jouy FC booed when Santos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hubert Heim didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noël Rebours in the 11th minute of play forced Santos's goalkeeper Mathys Turban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mathys Turban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eden Lotte, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When Kazimierz Buczak came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Santos fans jumped to their feet. Mathys Turban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Karcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adam Karcher in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathys Turban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 23rd match minute, Santos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hubert Heim to maneuver through the defense. In the 27th match minute, jouy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brandon Matton to maneuver through the defense. Adam Karcher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathys Turban having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eden Lotte in the 34th minute of play forced Santos's goalkeeper Mathys Turban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Georges Lemaistre kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Adam Karcher shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Turban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Santos defense, Jocelyn Bonnal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathys Turban. The Santos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathys Turban should have stopped the shot. 47 minutes into the game, William Montaigne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. jouy FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santos the free kick. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kazimierz Buczak to strike the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the match, Jérémy Bacher had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harun İpekdal. jouy FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jérémy Bacher was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 61 minutes into the match, Santos's goal looked a bit too open when Eden Lotte came free, but Mathys Turban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adam Karcher got free with Mathys Turban in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Samir Gervasoni struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Harun İpekdal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos. Hubert Heim was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Santos's Hubert Heim got a free kick in the 81st minute. Mathys Turban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noël Rebours in the 82nd minute of play. Fred Lachambre tried in the 84th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Mathys Turban a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 3-2. In the 90th minute Eden Lotte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Turban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute Jocelyn Bonnal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Turban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Santos had won after a very even match.
