In the 8th minute, Ronan Dard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute Ferdinand Rousselot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Élie Cassan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes, Arnold Soret mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fèves and the Plappeville players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 17 played minutes Fèves got a freekick which was hit by Arnold Soret. Fèves's Gameiro Couchot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bart Portejoie in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Plappeville's goal looked a bit too open when Benoît Garbe came free, but Élie Cassan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Hugues Ginoux put in a rough tackle. Élie Cassan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronan Dard in the 30th minute of play. If Arnold Soret had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute Abdel Gourdet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Élie Cassan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Florent Dupeyron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Benoît Garbe made a precise shot to the right of Élie Cassan. Plappeville's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bart Portejoie to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Fèves getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Benoît Garbe hit a great ball. Bart Portejoie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Plappeville's Florent Dupeyron got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Plappeville's zone, Abdel Gourdet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Élie Cassan came out of the goal and Abdel Gourdet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Élie Cassan made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Ferdinand Rousselot sent off a good shot on target. Élie Cassan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benoît Garbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erwin Gouin during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th match minute, Plappeville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erwin Gouin to maneuver through the defense. Ronan Dard took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Élie Cassan. Plappeville's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Fèves booed when Plappeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Batut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Élie Cassan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Rousselot went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Rousselot cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Élie Cassan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oscar Batut struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gameiro Couchot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plappeville. Plappeville's Élie Cassan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benoît Garbe in the 95th minute of play. Arnold Soret got his second yellow card in the match during the 97th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Fèves's Arnold Soret got a free kick in the 97th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fèves walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
