Pierre-Olivier Couronne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavian Garcon in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Planète Marseille booed when Rathmore Lime Tree was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honoré Villot didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Mourad Bobet shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sofyane Valognes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Planète Marseille's Pierre-Olivier Couronne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Planète Marseille from getting a goal against them. Pierre-Olivier Couronne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hervé Annette in the 52nd minute of the match. Rathmore Lime Tree's Sofyane Valognes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yannick Pontet in the 54th minute of play. 63 minutes into the game, Johan Dufrenne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rathmore Lime Tree's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Planète Marseille the free kick. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Johan Dufrenne got his second yellow card in the match during the 66th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Yannick Pontet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sofyane Valognes having to interfere. Yannick Pontet kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Yannick Pontet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Planète Marseille and the Rathmore Lime Tree players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pierre-Olivier Couronne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hervé Annette, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pierre-Olivier Couronne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hervé Annette, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some careless play in the Planète Marseille defense, Hervé Annette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pierre-Olivier Couronne. The Planète Marseille fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pierre-Olivier Couronne should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Rathmore Lime Tree left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Planète Marseille.
