The audience was convinced that Yves Robinet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gameiro Couchot was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Erwin Billault got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Flavian Garcon in the 22ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gameiro Couchot, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gameiro Couchot stood somewhat misplaced when Yves Robinet came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 25 minute. After a rather tough play, Fèves's Ferdinand Rousselot got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Rathmore Lime Tree's Yves Robinet nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gameiro Couchot made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yves Robinet in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gameiro Couchot saved Fèves from getting behind. Flavian Garcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Fèves's Arnold Soret got a free kick in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the game, Arnold Soret was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fèves's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rathmore Lime Tree the free kick. In the 41st match minute, Fèves was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnold Soret to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Fèves's zone, Yves Robinet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gameiro Couchot came out of the goal and Yves Robinet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benoît Garbe was the one to do the kick off. Gameiro Couchot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavian Garcon, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, Rathmore Lime Tree's goalkeeper Sofyane Valognes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdel Gourdet. After 60 minutes, Yves Robinet made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Fèves's Gameiro Couchot tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Robinet in the 65th minute of play forced Fèves's goalkeeper Gameiro Couchot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul-Émile Brien kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Ronan Dard shot from long distance in the 70th minute, but Sofyane Valognes was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. When Rathmore Lime Tree's Yves Robinet in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benoît Garbe hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the match, Yves Robinet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gameiro Couchot. Fèves's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yves Robinet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 79th minute, Yves Robinet made a precise shot to the right of Gameiro Couchot. Fèves's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. In the 82ndth minute of the game Yves Robinet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fèves's Gameiro Couchot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Honoré Villot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Rathmore Lime Tree's zone, Ferdinand Rousselot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sofyane Valognes came out of the goal and Ferdinand Rousselot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gilbert Cosson hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Rathmore Lime Tree were awarded a corner. Benjamin Loth went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Rathmore Lime Tree's Benjamin Loth to fire away a dangerous shot which Gameiro Couchot despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the referee ended the match the Rathmore Lime Tree players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
