Nathanaël Barbot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes of play, Castelmaurou's Jean-Baptiste Gaze made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nelson Cloarec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Davy Giacomoni in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nathanaël Barbot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Castelmaurou getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jean-Baptiste Gaze hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Davy Giacomoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nathanaël Barbot was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After having played for 55 minutes, Davy Giacomoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formation Pure Lyonnaise's supporters crossed their fingers, but Davy Giacomoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Davy Giacomoni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nathanaël Barbot read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Castelmaurou's Billy Caire got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Davy Giacomoni got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Florent Iglesias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Cloarec having to interfere. Davy Giacomoni scored 4-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nathanaël Barbot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Silvestre Telesforo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Nelson Cloarec made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Castelmaurou's zone, Mohamed-Ali Duparc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathanaël Barbot came out of the goal and Mohamed-Ali Duparc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zinedine Gilibert received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nelson Cloarec came out and tried to block the shot, but Zinedine Gilibert slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 92nd minute. Jean-Baptiste Gaze hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Formation Pure Lyonnaise fully deserved thier win.
