Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reynald Deprez kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynald Deprez in the 8th minute of play forced Haulchin's goalkeeper Gilbert Caro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romuald Barth's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Caro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Rémy Castillo put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Cysoing's Reynald Hugel got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Victorien Broutin fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Haulchin's protests and gave Victorien Broutin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Haulchin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorien Broutin to maneuver through the defense. Walter Lejeune made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Gabriel Sellier sent off a good shot on target. Walter Lejeune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hippolyte Hesse in the 28th minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, Cysoing's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Severe came free, but Walter Lejeune reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Walter Lejeune breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Haulchin's Gilbert Caro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romuald Barth in the 90th minute of play. When Hippolyte Hesse came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Haulchin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hippolyte Hesse couldn't finish the play. The Cysoing players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
