Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Allan Vester made the kick off which started today's match. Villejust's Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allan Vester in the 7th minute of play. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind meyzieu fc's goalkeeper Chris Hauser, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Victor Vaille came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the meyzieu fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Vaille couldn't finish the play. meyzieu fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Vaille in the 23rd minute. After taking down the ball on meyzieu fc's corner Yoann Loupias fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard quite easily take care of the ball. meyzieu fc's Alkestis Tsardikos pulled a muscle in his leg after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 28 minutes into the game, Victor Vaille was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. meyzieu fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villejust the free kick. After 28 played minutes meyzieu fc got a freekick which was hit by Victor Vaille. meyzieu fc's Allan Vester got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. meyzieu fc's Victor Vaille got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, Allan Vester had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard. Villejust's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Allan Vester was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 43rd minute Allan Vester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Villejust's Danny Delamotte got a free kick in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sammy Armand to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, meyzieu fc's Mustapha Ogier got a free kick in the 55th minute. Sammy Armand recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chris Hauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danny Delamotte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Victor Vaille managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. meyzieu fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Vaille was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 60th minute, Danny Delamotte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Vaille sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Villejust's Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard got control of the ball when Victor Vaille tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chris Hauser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sammy Armand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victor Vaille's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Serge Vincendeau got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 69 minutes into the match, Victor Vaille dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard, 0-2. Adam Mutin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Victor Vaille fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Pierre-Emmanuel Bernard, passed just outside the right post. In the 78th match minute, Villejust was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noureddine Desire to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Yoann Loupias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Villejust booed when meyzieu fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Vaille didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Victor Vaille had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over meyzieu fc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villejust throughout the match.
