With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominique Pages in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maël Brulin saved Olympique de Batjax from getting behind. Jimmy De Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Pierre-Emmanuel Pelloquin made a huge save. Bilal Sakho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Maël Brulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Olympique de Batjax got a freekick which was hit by Frédéric Beaufils. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
