In the 3rd minute Ahmid Cauquil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thomas Lassaigne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Hippolyte Manzoni notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Orcines's Thomas Lassaigne. Thomas Lassaigne was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alexis Ranc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Marc-Aurèle Charret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Lassaigne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Félicien Le Parc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thomas Lassaigne didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toufik Lamboley went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 19th minute, Félicien Le Parc made a precise shot to the right of Thomas Lassaigne. Orcines's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Alexis Ranc kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. The audience cheered when Vincent Morgand's long shot passed Thomas Lassaigne's right side. It was 0-4, 22 minutes into the match. Thomas Lassaigne showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Félicien Le Parc, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 28 minutes of play, Saint-Louis FC's Toufik Lamboley made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thomas Lassaigne was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thomas Lassaigne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toufik Lamboley in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Saint-Louis FC booed when Orcines was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles-Henri Mounier didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thomas Lassaigne was a little too slow when Félicien Le Parc got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 67th minute. The score was now 3-7. In the 69th minute, Saint-Louis FC's Toufik Lamboley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-8. With his leg Thomas Lassaigne managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Saint-Louis FC's Félicien Le Parc fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Dominique Pages fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orcines's protests and gave Dominique Pages a yellow card for diving instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Toufik Lamboley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Orcines's Thomas Lassaigne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 79th minute, Saint-Louis FC's Toufik Lamboley dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-9. Ahmid Cauquil received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thomas Lassaigne came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmid Cauquil slotted it home off the left post making it 3-10 in the 83rd minute. If Dominique Pages had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Orcines's zone, Hippolyte Manzoni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomas Lassaigne came out of the goal and Hippolyte Manzoni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Félicien Le Parc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Thomas Lassaigne made a huge save. Thomas Lassaigne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toufik Lamboley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute, Saint-Louis FC's Ahmid Cauquil dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-11. Saint-Louis FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
