The crowd rose to their feet as Inter Stella 5555's Jackson Grossi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marc-Aurèle Charret. That made the score 1-0 after 2 minutes of play. Morgan Got made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hippolyte Manzoni in the 9th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Saint-Louis FC's zone, George Weba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc-Aurèle Charret came out of the goal and George Weba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Raphaël Parsy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Stella 5555 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Morgan Got made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toufik Lamboley in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Raphaël Parsy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marc-Aurèle Charret. Saint-Louis FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Raphaël Parsy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Saint-Louis FC's zone, Cyril Davin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc-Aurèle Charret came out of the goal and Cyril Davin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hippolyte Manzoni during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Saint-Louis FC's Hippolyte Manzoni got a free kick in the 29th minute. Eric Cantona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes of play, Saint-Louis FC's Félicien Le Parc made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Morgan Got was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Raphaël Parsy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Stella 5555's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphaël Parsy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc-Aurèle Charret breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Raphaël Parsy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eric Cantona received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marc-Aurèle Charret came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Cantona slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raphaël Parsy to strike the kick off in the second half. Rémy Leseur hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Morgan Got made an important save on a dangerous shot by Félicien Le Parc in the 61st minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Eric Cantona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inter Stella 5555's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Cantona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eric Cantona in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc-Aurèle Charret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee felt a red card was in order, 68 minutes into the game, when Jackson Grossi put in a rough tackle. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Inter Stella 5555! Félicien Le Parc kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Hippolyte Manzoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Morgan Got saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Félicien Le Parc could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Morgan Got however easily saved by the left post. Toufik Lamboley hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, Toufik Lamboley notched a goal, 6-3, to the right of Inter Stella 5555's Morgan Got. Morgan Got was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 91st minute, Eric Cantona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Inter Stella 5555's Morgan Got got control of the ball when Félicien Le Parc tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 97th match minute, Saint-Louis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Tridon to maneuver through the defense. In the 99th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saint-Louis FC's goalkeeper Marc-Aurèle Charret, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Inter Stella 5555 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
