After 14 played minutes, Ranquet's Moïse Felten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maël Brulin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ranquet reached it. Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustave Verot in the 15th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Olympique de Batjax got a freekick which was hit by Frédéric Beaufils. In the 24th minute, Gustave Verot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maël Brulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Ranquet's Gustave Verot in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Olympique de Batjax's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Olympique de Batjax getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Augustin Guez hit a great ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maël Brulin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Olympique de Batjax's goal looked a bit too open when Gustave Verot came free, but Maël Brulin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maël Brulin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jason Delporte went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gustave Verot made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Mathieu Oudart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ranquet fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Maël Brulin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustave Verot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maël Brulin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustave Verot, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Brendan Tête received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Yves Davesne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yves Davesne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brendan Tête in the 76th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Guez during the 80th minute. Olympique de Batjax's Maël Brulin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Delporte in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olympique de Batjax's goalkeeper Maël Brulin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ranquet played a much better game than Olympique de Batjax and deserved their victory. The Olympique de Batjax players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
